A Good Show!!

Posted by Borderpride on December 13, 2008 at 4:39 PM
A good day at the LKA show today!!  Wish at only just 9 month's & up into her first Puppy class with a large entry, was awarded 1st place along with Best Puppy Bitch!!  Being such a large & very strong entry I'm absolutely over the moon!!  Due to having dropped all of his coat, Twist stayed at home.  However, Buddy (B. Eternal Touch) in Junior Dog, the biggest class of the day (22) was also awarded 1st place!!  To say Jean & I were thrilled is an understatement!!  Today's judge was breed specialist Felix Cosme who we both thank for thinking so highly of our beloved dog's.

I'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas & a very Happy New Year!!

You can find the new photo's by scrolling down the New Arrival's page to the link's .......... Enjoy!!

Yesterday at the Scottish Border Collie Club championship show, first of all Wish was awarded 4th place in a very strong Minor Puppy Bitch class.
Then later on Twist won Mid Limit Dog & then went on to be awarded the Dog CC by breed specialist judge Anne Layte!!  This was Twist's 2nd CC, many thanks to Anne for thinking so highly of my very special boy :o)

Daisy has been scanned & is definitely having puppies!!  Puppies due around 17 October.  See the Puppies Page for further details.  I had hoped to be able to share the first puppy photo with you that was taken during the scan but for some strange reason it won't load up.  Never mind, I'll try again later.

A Couple of Update's

Daisy has today been mated, puppies hopefully expected around the 17 October.  I'm really excited about this litter & really hope there will be a gorgeous little girl in there for me :o)

Yesterday at the Welsh Kennel Club champ show, Buddy was awarded VHC in a good sized Junior Dog class.  Having only just turned 1 & moved up to JD, Jean was pleased to get a place in a great class.  Twist was awarded 2nd place in a large PGD class which I was pleased with, more because he moved well where as last time we were at Builth Twist wasn't too sure ~ this time thankfully he remained back at his usual self :o)

Until next time!!  :o)
